I'm a 65-year-old grandmother, Last year I fell off my
grandson's skateboard and broke my wrist, but it was my

‘ own fault, and I certainly wouldn't punish my grandson for

it. It was great fun, and I may even try it again aometime.
I took a lot of ribbing from everyone who knew about il,
but I just laughed right along with them.
- If you can get in touch with that father, Abby. please tell
him for me that a nice move would be to buy his son a

brand new skateboard.

RING PROBLEM

DEAR ABBY: My problem is me. I never know what to
say when someone aske me a question that I prefer not to

such as, “What happened between your sister and her
husband?" Or, “Why doesn't your son marry that. girl he's
been living with for so long?"

Other questions that aren't all that personal also irritate
me, such as, “How much did you pay for those shoes?”

1 auppose I could say, “It’s none of your business,” but I
don't have the nerve, so I find myself answering a lot of
questions I don’t really want to answer.
