VISCOUNT ALEXANDER SCHOOL 1988.12.02 Dear Parents, December Again this year, we have been asked by Share Social Services to help in collecting canned goods or foodstuffs to aid members of our community who may be facing a difficult time during the Christmas season. We are pleased to help, especially in these times when there is a great need for help. Donations are purely voluntary and are made without fanfare or publicity for the individual making the donation. There are three District Christmas Carol Concerts on Monday, December 12, in our gymnasium. The first concert is at 10:00 AM, the second at 1:00 PM, and the third at 7:50 in the evening. Some of your children may be involved as Viscount Alexander will be one of the schools participating. Visitors are welcome to attend, especially at the evening concert. Seating is limited, however, and. remembering the concert lastyear the turnout will be heavy. The Singing, though, will be most enjoyable. "Refundable Day" For the past two years, VACA has had a "Refundable Day" following the Christmas holiday. The VA community generously donated all refund- able bottles to the VACA fundraiser. Close to $900 was raised very easily each time and went to support school programs and student activities. | VACA will be having another "Refundable Day" this year on January 4, 5. So, start saving your bottles for the VA Refundable Day.
