Kaare Bergenhus, 2258 Kelly is opposed to any additional apartments in the downtown area.

Ms. D. McEacheran, 2335 White Avenue spoke in favour of the project suggesting that it will
bring people to che downtown core, encourage building, and therefore would help to provide

more affordabie housing.

Gary Abbott, 2381 Bury is opposed. He can not see any reason for a nine story building for only
40 apartments. .

Ralph Garton, #201-2381 Bury spoke in opposition as he is concemed that the sun would be
blocked from his apartment, and would also cause additional traffic conjestion.

Bob Herr, 1928 Warwick Crescent is in favour of the construction; however, expressed concer
that traffic in the area needs to be addressed, although he indicated that he was aware that the
City was working on it.

Hunt Tse, President, Manhattan Construction Ltd., gave background information regarding the
number of changes made to the building since the original proposal was submitted to the
Planning Committee over a year ago.

Robin Van Nager, 2381 Bury suggested that the majority of the people she spoke with are
opposed to a nine story apartment building.

Vic Coulter, 2378 Wilson, spoke regarding his wishes of a small town atmosphere remaining in
Port Coquitlarn.

David Leason, #113-2381 Bury spoke regarding concems that high density will produce a ghetto
effect in the future. — _

Mr. Martin, 1677 Taylor would like all apartments to be relatively uniform in height. and
