APPENDIX I

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO "PORT COQUITLAM ZONING BYLAW, 1987, NO. 2240"

Replace clause (1)(d) of Section 902 ~ c~2 (Neighbourhood Commercial) with
the following:

(d) Shopping centers, excluding arcades.

Replace clause (1)(e) of Section 903 - c~3 (Community Commercial) with the
following:

(e) Auditoriums, dance halis, night clubs and other entertainment
establishments, but excluding arcades.

Replace clause (1) of Section 904 - C-4 (Town Center Commercial) with the
following:

(1) USES PERMITTED:

Vaes permitted in C~3.

Add the following definitions to Section 101:

ARCADE :

Arcade meang any premises accessible to the public where pool, billiards,
snooker, or aimilar games are played or offered aa a principal use, or
where more than two amusement machines are available for 48@, upon payment
for the game or use of the amusement machines, but excludes nedghbouchood

pubs, hotel lounges and private licensed premises where the above
mentioned games and machines are offered as an accessory or subordinate

AMUSEMENT MACHINE :

Amusement machine means a device operated electrically, mechanically or
manuglly for the purpose of providing amusement, entertainment or
recreation, and includes without limitation video and pinball machines,
but excludes pool and billiard tables and bowling alleys.
