Re: Citaclel Heights Bus Service
In the 1990/91 Annual Service Plan approved by the Vancouver Regional Transit

Comnussion, there is a proposal to implement a new route along Citedel Drive in the
Citadel Heights development. This service which will operate during peak hours, was

discussed at a recent meeting at the Terry Fox Library in Port Coquitlam. Generally, there: -

appears to be considerable support for the routing in the community.

Recently, however, we were advised that the completion of Citadel Drive to Mary Hill Road
and the necessary improvement of Mary Hill Road between Citadel Drive and the bypass

will not be completed in time for the September 3, 1990 start-up. As a result we are
pro posing to the Vancouver Regional Transit Commission that the new Citadel Heights
service be delayed until December, 1990 when there is a better chance the necessary
roadwerks will be completed to operate the route.
