Recommendation: That the route for the May Day Children's Parade starts at the corner of Prairie and Coast Meridian, proceeds north on Coast Meridian and east on Laurier Avenue to Hyde Creek Centre. Background & Comments: On Sunday, May 10th, a Children's Parade has been planned for the May Day celebrations. This parade will be for children only and they will be entering with decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, wheelchairs, costumes, etc. Hastings Junior High School wili be leading the parade with "Wizard of Oz" principals and five Munchkins and the theme is to lead the children along the "yellow brick road" to "Emerald City".
