MAR 24 1989 TO: Mayor and Council March 20th, 1980 FROM: Planning and Zoning Committee Re: R#4-80 SUBJECT: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: BACKGROUND: RECOMMENDATION: Application to rezone 2274 Lobb Avenue from RS-1 to RS-1A. Lots 6 & 7, Block 2, District Lot 290, Plan 1957. The subject property consists of two 44-foot lots with an existing house straddling both lots. The encroachment on Lot 6, however, is less than two feet. The request is to readjust the common property line to reduce the width of Lot 6 to 40 feet whereby the house will sit on only Lot 7. The sideyard is, however, slightly less than the required minimum and it will require the approval for sideyard relaxation by the Board of Variance. In order to readjust the canmon property line by subdivision plan, the zoning must be first changed to RS-1A. The Committee recommends that this application be advanced to Public Hearing. Ae L.
