Prior to the question being called on the above-stated resolution,
Alderman Ranger proposed the following amendment thereto:

That the foregoing proposed resolution be amended by adding the follow-

ing as the end thereof:

“AND THAT the Public Works Committee investigate the feasibility of the

owners of the vacant property at the North-east corner of Shaughnessy Street:

and McAllister Avenue leasing the same to the City at a nominal. sum for use

as a 2-hour parking facility." Carried,

The question was then ‘called on the motion of Aldermen Laking and Ranger,

as amended:

That recommendations set forth in Items 1, 2, 3, and 5 of a memorandum

from Alderman E.W, Mabbett, April 19th, 1974, be tabled and referred to the

- Public Works Committee for. study and report to Couneil;
