Limited (Soarding ' " Home) Care. These facilities will be operated on both a profit and non-profit basis. No regulations will set the rate which can be charged for either | of these levels of care. As is often the case, private industry has ' beon first to grasp the significance of the changing scene in hospital csre. Recognizing that government regulation of hospital construction and a decreasing tendency of children to house | | aged yelatives would create a market, private entrepeneurs have entered the health care field. By a system of agreements with non-profit groups in our communities, public funding and tax concessions are being obtained to develop Personal Care Homes which generate srofits for an exnanding new industry. The Port Coquitlam situation is illustrative of how this Ls being ace~uplished.
