P.M A A discussions took place , regarding the pros and contras of proposed security fence, and the possibility to have a private lockable gate. if desired, but the majority of the residents felt that they would not really benefit from a fence, and would be afraid that the damage done to put it there, would not outweigh such structure's benefit. They were all in favour that this money could be alloted for swings, basketball hoop, and a small paved area were kids could shoot a puck. Further a discussion took place on the ongoing construction, items that still have to be installed, such as small backstop, finish off play ground, asphalt walks. Appriciation wa received for playground as it is now, for the security lights alongside the path up to the bridge, and other items still to take place. Our schedule to finish all items around mid summer was great new anyone. to VS OFFICE Electronic Mail Wednesday 05/20/92 11 To: Subject: Tree Distribution: None, this item is In Progress Coast Meredian Road, at Lincoln, Oalsam Fir . On is on the east bouleva This tree, a landmark has been there may be for some c00 y The east boulevard on Coast Meredian is quite wide, and no cars and truck can be parked ( straight in) However, as Lincoln at the stopsign is a is somewhat higher, than the surrounding, little bit down, it has been sugg tree should come down, as it could be a possible hazard. If people were to follow proper proceedures at the stop si ample vision to the downcoming traffic from Coast Meredian has to enter onto the intersection. The 120 ft + tree's health is declining slowly, through ro acid rain and other circumstances, but I feel strongly. th get lots of years of enjoyment from this old landmark, oth the short route, and cut it down hastely. Can I have your comnents on this matter please.
