CARL HAUGLAND and Mike Dahms were just two of five bowlers who
competed at the provincial bowling championships in Vernon’ March 17,
Robbie Miller, Phillip Durand and Jon Pelltier rounded out the taam of five
who were representing Terrace at the tournament. The teens competed
in a four-game, total pin fall format and came out with a fourth place fin-
ish. “We were fairly happy but we knew we could have done better,” said
Michael Dahms. He said the biggest obstacle to placing in the top three
was that the team didn't have a really big game out of the four they
played. “At provincials our highest was in the 1200s," said Dahms. The
team that won bowled a 1300 in their last game," he said.
