November 8th, 1982

A regular meeting of the. Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City
Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on November 8th, 1982 at
7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, G.R. Laking,
E.W. Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, D.J. Vater, and H.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer B.R. Kirk, City
Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Director of
Community Planning W. Brown, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, and Recording
Secretary D. Vyse.

SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced City employees Mr. George
Bracewell and Mr. William Friskie and presented 25 year pins in recognition
of their service to the City.

That the minutes of the special Council meeting held on October 27th,
1982 and the regular Council meeting held on November lst, 1982 be taken as
read and adopted.
Carried.
DELEGATION:
His Worship Mayor L.M. jraboulay introduced Mr. D.R. LaRiviere, 12621
Woolridge Road, Pitt Meadows, B.C. who then made a presentation to Council

regarding the Mary Hill Bypass. Mr. LaRiviere also expressed his concerns

regarding Commuter Rail to Vancouver and stated in his opinion the Commuter

Rail should extend further east than Port Coquitlam.

That the Statutory Inaugural Meeting of this Council be held on Monday,
December 6th, 1982 at 8:00 p.m. in the Hyde Creek Centre, 1379 Laurier

Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C.
