Re: Flood Control Works - Coquitlam Dyking District

Attached hereto is a copy of a resolution approved by Council
at the regular meeting held October 4th, 1976.

Council is aware that negotiations with the Province and with
the District of Coquitlam and involving City and District Administrators,
Solicitors and Engineers have been completed. Attached is a proposed
intermunicipal agreement which has included as Schedule A a proposed
agreement between the Province and the City. Also attached is a letter
from the District's Municipal Engineer dated September 28th, 1977 outlining
the ‘resolution passed by the District Council at their regular meeting of
September 26th, 1977. — :

Further to the City Council resolution of October 4th, 1976
please accept this report as a request that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized
to execute the Intermunicipal Agreement and Province — City Agreement in
the form attached to this report. .
