January 13th, 1975 In speaking to the subject, Alderman Laking pointed out that mosquito control is on the agenda for discussion at the February 6th, 1975 General Membership of the Lower Mainland Municipal Association and that the four Regional Districts concerned have been invited to send representatives. Mayor Campbell then instructed Alderman Keryluk, the City's representative to the Board, to stress at the meeting that the City is in favour of the Board's continued operation. Alderman Ranger suggested that Alderman Keryluk should advise the Board that Port Coquitlam is still interested in membership if the Board becomes a legal body.
