The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam. in open meeting assembied, enacts as follows: 1. The following rates are hereby imposed and levied for the year 1993: (a) For all lawful general purposes of the municipality on the assessed value of and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in column "A" of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. For debt purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in column "B’ of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. (c) For hospital purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for regional hospital district purposes, rates appearing in column "C" of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. (d) For purpose of Greater Vancouver Regional District on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for regional hospital district purposes, rate appearing in column "D" of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. The minimum amount of taxation upon a parcel of real property shall be the amount provided by statute. (a) At the close of business on the 2nd day of July, 1993 the collector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shall add to the unpaid taxes of the current year, in respect of each parcel of land and the improvements thereon upon the real property tax roll, five percentum (5%) of the amount then remaining unpaid. At the close of business on the 3rd day of September, 1993 the Collector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shall add to the unpaid taxes of the current year (exclusive of the five percentum addition authorized by subsection (a) of this section), in respect of each parcel of land and the improvements thereon upon the real property tax roll, a further five percentum (5%) of the amount then remaining unpaid.
