CORRESPONDENCE:

From the District of Abbotsford, May 26th, 1981 regarding the Dist. of
Abbotsford,

Central Fraser Valley Regional Library. The Acting-Chief Administrative May 26/81 re
Officer advised Alderman Wright had a report to Council following a CEVRD
Special meeting of the Library Board of Management held on Saturday,

June 13th, 1981 and the report was read. Alderman Wright advised it has

been recommended by the Library Board of Management that Council endorse

the resolution of confidence which was passed by the Board of Management

at the Special Board Meeting on Saturday, June 13th, 1981.

That the following resolution be endorsed:

That this Board of Management of the Fraser Valley Regional Library,
having received the comprehensive report from the Interim Director on
the operations, management and staff of the Library System to date,
acknowledges their full confidence in management, staff and operations
of the entire Library System;

AND FURTHERMORE, THAT this same resolution of confidence be presented
to each member municipality and school district for their endorsement;

AND FURTHERMORE, THAT such endorsement be communicated to the
Minister, Ministry of Provincial Secretary and Government Services and
a copy to the Secretary of the Board of Management of the Fraser Valley
Regional Library before June 24th, 1981, being the next meeting date of
the Board of Management of the Fraser Valley Regional Library.
