Meeting of Presidents

On November 12-14, the Meeting of Presidents was held by the Fédération des francophones
de la Colombie-Britannique. More than 70 representatives of Francophone organizations
attended that annual event.

Delegates were advised of recent developments in the health sector and in the early childhood sector,
presented by RésoSanté Colombie-Britannique and the Fédération des parents francophones de Colombie-
Britannique. The Franc depart (StrongStart BC) program garnered interest among participants, and
everyone was pleased with the growing popularity of the health professionals directory.

The Educacentre College and the Conseil scolaire francophone de la C.-B. [BC Francophone School
Board] presented their development plans. The FFCB will be working over the coming months and
years, in cooperation with the Collége Educacentre, on the institution’s accreditation as a college,
and will continue to work with the Francophone School Board to develop and implement its
community and cultural policy.

The 2010-2011 Francophone Services Directory

On September 30, the FFCB released the Annuaire 2010-2011 This year, the cover page is the work of Ms. Catherine

- La Colombie-Britannique a votre service en frangais [2010- Tableau, a Francophone artist and Director of the
2011 directory - British Columbia French Service]. With Maison de la francophonie de Vancouver. The directory
12,000 copies, it is a unique resource for residents seeking was launched at Studio 16.

French language services in the private, community, public
or parapublic sectors. A total of 234 advertisers made the
directory possible.
