In wetland areas close to the riverfront portions recommended for preservation in its natural state, the timing of construction may be restricted to minimize impacts on wildlife. The City may require approval by the Ministry of Environment of works to be carried out in sensitive areas. d. Encourage the preservation of mature or significant stands of trees _ within development sites in the Dominion Triangle. e. Encourage the planting of trees and major vegetation along major arterial and collector roads throughout the Dominion Triangle.
