‘HE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM on AUG 13 1999 MEMORANDUM Bryan Kirk Date: August 8, 1990 City Administrator File No.: 37/90 Carlos Felip Director of Planning Development Permit Application 2651, 2661, 2665 Jane Street, 2670 Burleigh Street Planning and Development Committee —- August 7; 1990 RECOMMENDATION : is recommended that Council approve the following: A resolution authorizing the Planning Department to drait Development Permit 37/903; and A resolution authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Development Permit, subject to: a) Completion of Rezoning Application 28/905 b) Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning; and c) Submission of a complete landscaping plan, specifications and securities, to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department. BACKGROUND : This Development Permit complements Rezoning Application 28/90 which received approval to proceed on July 9, 1990. The applicant has submitted architectural drawings and preliminary landscaping drawings that are generally acceptable. Some minor revisions and some details regarding dimensions and specifications are still pending. COMMENTS FROM OTHER DEPARTMENTS : The Fire, Buildings, Engineering and Parks and Recreation Departments have indicated that their comments for rezoning 28/99 are applicable to this Development Permit. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design is for 52 garden apartments in two buildings separated by a courtyard. The proposed development caters to empty-nesters with all units having two bedrooms.
