February 19, 1990/0465 DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMITS: From the City Clerk, January 31st, 1990 regarding Development Variance Permit No. 79/89 for 3374 Sefton Street. Mr. Nielsen, 3375 Sefton Street previously submitted a letter to Council opposing the project as he did not see a sign on the property indicating a request for variance, the building would block the view of the mountains from his townhome, and the rearyard setback change from 7.5 m to 2.5 m was too drastic of a change. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his memorandum of January 25th, 1990 a Voluntary Development Variance Permit be issued for 3374 Sefton Street to relax the front yard setback from 7.5m to 6.0m and the rearyard setback from 7.5m to 2.7m Subject to: aj Satisfactory completion of Rezoning Application #23/89; and b) Submission of a landscape plan to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department. Carried. From the City Clerk, January 31st, 1990 regarding Development Variance Permit No. 80 for 1284 Brand Street. Moved by Alderman Keryluk; Seconded by Alderman Wright: That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his memorandum of January 15th, 1990 the Voluntary Development Variance Permit be issued for 1284 Brand Street reducing the minimum side yard in an RS-1 zone from 1.5m to 1.3m.
