Re: Alternate Month Towing Between Coquitlam Towing and Discount Towing,

As Counci2 members are awane for the past number of years we have alternated
the towing, one month each, between these two towing finms. I have had
five complaints in the Last short while, Mr. Pollock has had one, Mar,

Criggte has had a number Of complaints, from citizens about having to go

£o Coquitlam to pick up their cars and also the fact that there is
Coquittam towing charges, an additional $15.00 over the amount Discount
Towing charges, Each time I have had a complaint they have asked why in
Pont Coquitlam we do not use a Local fiim uith good wreckers and also a
good storage yard instead of the business going one month to the Local
and one month to the towing sium in Coquitlam,

T would suggest to Councié that we take a Look at this matter and if we
find that Discount Towing is a neLiable firm, with a good storage yard,
and excellent equipment, we consider changing over and giving Discount
Towing the towing in Pont Coquitlam. As you may be aware Coquitlam
Towing has all the towing for the District Of Coquitlam 12 months of the
year.
