Ul FEB 2 1 1977 Mayor and Aldermen ‘February 15th, 1977 R.A. Freeman City Clerk Re: 2986 Coast Meridian Road - Westgate Enterprises Ltd. The City's Sr. By-law Enforcement Officer, Mr. R-G. Criggie, reports that there is a partly demolished dwelling house, rubbish, and an unsightly construction trailer apparently abandoned on the above-noted property and despite several contacts made with the owner of the property he has been unable to have the property cleaned up. Accordingly, Mr. Criggie has asked that we bring this matter to Council's attention and a draft resolution for Council's consideration follows: "WHEREAS property known as Lot 399, Southwest Quarter, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 44809, New Westminster District, being 2986 Coast Meridian Road, Port Coquitlam, B.C. is owned by Westgate Enterprises Ltd.; AND WHEREAS there is an accumulation of filth, discarded materials and rubbish upon the said property; AND WHEREAS the Twenty-one (21) day notice required by Section 5 of the “City of Port Coquitlam Prohibition of Untidy or Us.sightly Property By-law, 1971, No. 1103" has been given and there has been neo response thereto; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Senior By-law Enforcement Officer of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, Mr. R.G. Criggie, be and he is hereby authorized to see to the removal of filth, discarded materials or rubbish, either by City workmen or by others, to enter upon such property for the purpose aforesaid, and to effect such removal at the expense of Westgate Enterprises Ltd." Westgate Enterprises Ltd. have been invited to attend the Council meeting of Monday, February 21st, 1977 and if their represencative is in attendance, he should be afforded the opportunity of addressing the Council.
