Equipmen‘ Replacement

RECOMMENDATION:

That City Council authorize the replacement of equipment and funding of same as
outlined in the attached schedule.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Our departments have reviewed their equipment replacement schedules and the condition
of their equipment and have requested replacement of equipment as outlined.

Funds are available in the appropriate replacement reserves.

If Council were to approve the above recommendation, purchase of the equipment will
take place as outlined in our regular purchasing policy. Council is involved at this point
for initial budget approval and again later only:

¢ On purchases greater than $10,000 where the recommendation is not to go with the
low bidder.

* On all purchases of value greater than $50,000
