BYLAW NO. 2164 MAR 3- 1986

A Bylaw to dedicate certain real property
owned by The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam as a Public Park

WHEREAS the real property hereinafter more particularly described is owned by The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam;

AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 533 of the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of
the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, as amended, the Councii may,
without the assent of the electors, by Bylaw dedicate for any public purpose any
real property owned by the municipality that is of an area of 5,000 sq.m. or

less;

AND WHEREAS the real property hereinafter described has an area of 3,140 Sq «M.3

AND WHEREAS it is deemed in the public's interest to dedicate the real property
hereinafter described as a public park;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitiam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as fol lows: :

The parce! of real property hereinafter described which is owned by. The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and situate within the municipal limits
of the City of: Port Coquitlam and in the New Westminster Land Registration
District is hereby dedicated as a Public Park and shall be held and used by The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam In conformity with the provisions of
Part 17 of the Municipal Act: :

New Westminster District.

2. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Rowland Park Dedication
1986, No. 2164".
