RE: Purchase of Triple Combination
Fire Pumper.

Report from Buiiding Protection Committee Meeting held
Thursday May 22, 1980. In attendance:

Alderman R. Wright
Alderman F. Ranger
Fire Chief S. Wingrove
Deputy Fire Chief J. N. Bodleau

After comparing specifications, the lowest two tenders,
Hub Fire Engine and Equipment Ltd. and Andersons Engineering
were considered, Andersons Evgineering specifications meec our
requirements and offer aluminum construction verses steel con-
struction, Their warranty on the water tank is 15 years. Purchase
of the vehicle from Andersons would mean standardization.

Recommendation: The Triple Combination Pumper be purchased
from Andersons Engineering st a purchase price of $117,000
tax included.
