Dear Mayor and Aldermen:

Re: Coquitlam A.L.R.T. Extension —
B.C. Transit Presentation

B.C. Transit recently made a presentation to the
Coquitlam Municipal Council dealing with the matter
of the Coquitlam A.L.&.T. Extension study which was
initiated in 1990.

Following receipt of the presentation, Council
received input from the Coquitlam Administrative
Staff and at their Regular meeting of April. 15,
1991, adopted the following resolution:

1. That Council advise B.c. Transit that:

a) Coquitlam endorses the Coquitlam
A.L.R.T. extension as an effective
part of measures to meet the needs of
Northeast Sector commuters;

Coquitlam endorses immediate
construction of the Coquitlam A.L.R.T.
extension to Lougheed Mall as the
first phase of the line to Coquitlam
Town Centre; |
