From the City Engineer, August 24th, 1990 regarding Proposed Coquitlan Dyke Pump Station and East Slough Dredging Work. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That Council award the engineering work te Associated Engineering Ltd. for the complete designs, plans, and specifications for the pump station and the east slough improvements, plus the tendering and site supervision for the installation of Phase I of the pump station and the improvements to the east slough, ail for the fixed lump sum price of $28,000.00. Carried. From the City Engineer, August 3lst, 1990 regarding Award of Tenders ~ 1990 Annual Vehicle Replacement Program. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: It is recommended that Council approve the expenditure of $60,020.38 from the Equipment Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment from the following suppliers: One 80 Kilowatt emergency generator from Cullen Detroit $47,429.70 One portable air compressor from Finning Tractor 12,590.68 $60.020.38 Carried. From the City Engineer, September 4th, 1990 regarding Proposed Blasting Regulation Bylaw. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That the City Clerk be directed to prepare the attached new Blasting Regulation Bylaw for adoption by Council. And That upon adoption of the proposed new Blasting Regulation Bylaw, Council repeal the existing Blasting Regulation Bylaw No. 13. Carried.
