Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described are not required for municipal purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated; NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that: 1. Lot 6 (except Part included in Plan 71468), District Lot 232, Group One, Plan 68514, New Westminster District, Port Coquitlam, B.C., be sold by tender if a bid acceptable to Council is received. The City Clerk is hereby instructed and authorized to publish and post the "Real Property for Sale By Tender” notice appearing in the Agenda documents of this Council Meeting; The terms and conditions contained therein are hereby approved; The City Clerk carry out the procedures set out therein. Council reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject all of the bids if Council in its absolute discretion determines that rejection is appropriate. Carried. LATE ITEM: From Mayor G.J. From the Greater Vancouver Regional District, Executive Committee, February 18, 1988 regarding Funding For Science World. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: That a one-time grant of $1.715 million by the GVRD on behalf of member municipalities to the Science World Capital Campaign, be not approved. .
