One final Item which the Committee discussed was the “procedure for the adoption of the P-oposed Smoking Regulation Bylaw. The City Clerk advises that after the first three readings of the Bylaw, a copy of the Bytaw will be forwarded to the Ministry of Health for comments and approval. Assuming that approval is received from the Ministry, final reading and adoption of the Bylaw would then take place. Although ‘no public hearing is required under the procedures, the Committee recommended that one be held at a suitable time to be selected by the. City Clerk. Sh T.M.
