COMMENTS:

1.

This appileation for a davelopment permit Is similar to
Twin Gedars permit Issued by City Council! In 1984, The
request ig To ameng the Land Use Contract governing the
property To permit construction of additions on the

residences.

Focus of attention In reviawing this development permit
application has been on architectural campatioi tity with
the existing units. Other Issues that were present for
Twin Cedars such as fire separation and emergency vehicle

access do not occur here,

Aspects of architectural compatibliity thet were examined
are:

appearance of additions In close range for verandas onto

small open spaces, |
match of upper tevel additions with host unit for

ailstance view of units along roads.

The designer and condominium assoclation have spent a great
deal of effort and considerarlion In preparing the drawings
to meet these criteria. It Is this report's opinion the
proposed additions will be architecturaiiy compatible with

the existing bullidings.

In conctuslton, support of this appiication Is belng
proposed. The reasons for support ara:

the additions wil! architecturally fit
no probtems for safety or access wlil be created.
owners! wilt! be able to modify thelr residences to better
