Dear Sir: Re: Coquitlam River Our initial samples of the river showed that the coliform counts were within acceptable limits. Therefore, the river will probably not be posted this summer. However, the health unit does not consider the river a safe place for unsupervised swimming. Although the danger of contacting disease is not a problem at present, the murky water, sharp rocks and deep spots make it a dangerous place to swim.
