NEW BUSINESS: From the District of Coquitlam, January 21st, 1976, concerning the '76 Budget 1976 Family Division Committee Budget and requesting an allocation of $800.00 for operation of the Committee in 1976 be approved. In speaking to the above~stated letter, Alderman Traboulay advised that he had received a copy of a letter to The Honourable G. Gardon, Attorney-General, dated January 21st, 1976, from Mr. B. Baldigara, Secretary of the Family Division Committee, wherein it was noted that while Letters Patent governing the Committee had been repealed the Letters Patent pertaining to a Court Family Matters Committee had yet to be pro- claimed, and advice was requested as to the terms of reference under which the Joint Family Division Committee of School District No. 43 should continue to function; and he stated his intention of proposing a motion at this time the same as one being proposed by Alderman Gilmore to his Council this evening.
