City Clerk, where by resclution your Council requested a meeting not
with the District pertaining to the above noted, please be advised that
it would be our pleasure to meet with you at 4 p.m. on the 29th May,
1972 in our Council Chambers.

I think it is interesting to note that the tone of your letter . :

was certainly not appreciated and I expressed my concern to Council ne

but I also expressed the wish that this type of correspondnece between . ae

municipaities would not continue and I think that I would be remiss mo Fane

if I did not suggest to you that it is not necessary for the City Council

-to demand things of us but that we will respond to requests in every case
possible. ’

I can assure you of the co-operation of this Municipality in

any and all endeavours and as I have stated to you en many occasions,
