That the City place no-post concrete barriers along the north and east perimeter of lots 7
& 8, Plan 2263, at Kingsway and Mary Hill Road at an estimated cost of $800.

That $800 be allocated from the Special Public Works Capital Reserve Fund for this

The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project/Traffic
Technician dated March 2, 1992 regarding a request from Mr. Bob Galer of the Port Coquitlam
Building Supplies Ltd. for the placement of barriers along the City parking lot located south of
_ Kangsway and west of Mary Hill Road. |

It is found the trucks are short: ~cutting through the City parking lot leaving mud and debris on the
lane and adjacent streets. If the City can close the street entraiices to this area, Mir. Galer intends |
_ to gravel the private parking lot at the northwest comer of Mary Hill Road and Elgin in order to
create an employee parking iot. These improvements would help clean up the area. oe
