SUBJECT: Roofing - Hyde Creek Centre and PoCo Rec Centre
(Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting June 4, 1991)

That the eetimated cost of $75,000, for repairs of the
arena roof, be taken out of the Parks & Recreation

Department's capital budget.

That the estimated cost of $17,500, for repairs of the
Hyde Creek Centre roof, be taken out of the Parks &
Recreation department capital budget.

This year during budget deliberations it was agreed that both the
Arena and Hyde Creek's roofs needed to be repaired. |

The estimated cost of $75,000, for the arena roof, wikl complete the
major repairs at the PoCo Recreation Centre. There is one emall area |
over the compressor room left, however it has not caused a problem

and will be in the 1992 budget. a

The $17,500, for repairs at Hyde Creek Centre, will complete all the
roofing: repairs.

This year's Council approved $115,000 for capital works for the Parks -
& Recreation Department. The repairs for roofing will total | _
