SUBJECT: Tenders for Dump Truck

Recommendation:

That the tender for the Tandem dump truck be awarded to
Co~Van International In the amount of $74,080.22 including tax.

Background and Comments:

On Gounclil's Instructions, the Dapartment re-tendered for
the Tandem dump truck with reduced specifications. A total of
five tanders were raceived in accordance with the attached

recap sheet.

Ali tenaers meet or exceed the spacifications. Therefore
there Is no reason why the tender should not be awarded to the
lowest tander, Co-Van International, who are offering an
International chassis with @ Del bax.
