Brown Director of Community Planning ALR Application 2311 Rowland Avenue RECOMMENDATION: That City Counci! direct the Clerk's Office to forward the exclusion application for Lot 2, Block A, D.L.« 174 & 289 NWLD Plan 4314 to the Agricultural Land Commission. COMMENTS: This application fs to exclude a parcel of jiand located along the northside of Pitt River Road beside the Shaughnessy Street neighbourhood. The property is designated for apartment development in the draft Community Pian. It should be noted that exclusion of several other parcels in the vicinity have also been requested. Those applications are now with the Land Commission. The rationale for this area being designated for apartment development in the draft Community Pian to help provide 200 year standard flood protection for the vicinity. Based on that objective, the Agricultural tand Commission have extended an approval in principal for development of the area. In conclusion, development of this property, will help achieve the Community Plan's objective for providing flood protection to the Shaughnessy Street vicinity and downtown Port Coquitlam.
