RECOMMENDATION: That City Councl! authorize the sum of
$400 be spent tor placing an
advertisement in 8.C. Business Magazine's
special industrial park supplement.

I. The lateness of this report Is due to this office just
being contacted by the Magazine. Their maliing sent out about
this earlier was not recelvecd,

2. it was indicated to the firm, the decision to participate
In thelr industrial supplement has to be made by City Council,
but that it fits in with Our economic development programme.

3. Work on planning tor the industrial development strategy is
now comolete. tn the Cortolis Report abcut industrial
development, one of the Suggestions made was that the City
consider advertising in special supplements like this one,

4. In’Gonclusion, it Is recommended this advertisement be used
as the first Initiative for Implementing the City's tndustrial

Development Programme.
