From the City Clerk, October Ist, 1981 regarding the Ethical Standards of Conduct for Elected Local Government Officials which were endorsed by the 1981 U.B.C.M. Convention. Alderman Wright suggested that the Council endorse the Ethical Standards of Conduct for Elected Local Government Officials and stated this would serve as a guide for new Council members. Moved dy Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam endorse the Ethical Standards of Conduct for Elected. Local Government Officials. Carried. From the Planning and Zoning Committee, September 28th, 1981 regarding Department of Highways Landscaping. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, September 28th, 1981 that a letter be written to the Department of Highways requesting that they landscape and maintain their land along the Lougheed Highway, within the boundaries of Port Coquitlam. Carried. From the Public Works Committee, October Ist, 1981 regarding ''No Parking" signs — Westminster Avenue. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: . That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, October Ist, 1981 "No Parking at Any Time" be implemented on both sides of Westminster Avenue from Oxford Street to the lane east of Oxford Street. Carried. From the Public Works Committee, October lst, 1981 regarding STOP signs. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That. as recommended by the Public Works Committee, October lst, 1981 STOP signs be installed on Edinburgh Avenue at Shaughnessy Street and along the East Bank Road at the intersections of McAllister Avenue, Whyte Avenue and Marpole Avenue.
