‘October 22nd, 1979. /9, Alderman Mabbett advised semi-trailers are being parked on the new Ald. Mabbett re semi-- Pavement on Kingsway Avenue and asked that the Public Works Committee investigate trailers: the possibility of restricting parking in this area. Alderman Mabbett advised the Aquafit Program on Saturday from 5:00 Pp-m. to 6:00 p.m. was re-instated following the comments made last week by Alderman Wright. Alderman Mabbett asked that the Public Works Committee consider posting small signs urging people against littering, particularly at bus stops. Alderman Traboulay advised the City sweeper was recently obstructing traffic on the Lougheed Highway at 7:40 a.m. and would libs to see the sweeper used elsewhere in the early morning. Alderman Mabbett advised Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Barr, 558 Prairie Avenue, long time residents of Port Coquitlam, are moving from the City at the end of the month and Mayor Campbell advised he would send an appropriate letter to them. Mayor Campbell, Aldermen Keryluk, Laking and Mabbett advised they will be seeking another term on Council in the Municipal Election on November 17th, 1979. Alderman Ranger advised the Library Bookmobile is apparently not being used as frequently as in the past and Alderman Wright advised the use Of the Bookmobile is down in all areas.
