Hunter said Terrace has been
good to him and his career. He
atrived in the area in 1984 from
Dawson Creek. Hunter is better
known for some sketching he
has done of Terrace called Hasti
Notes, which are sold all over
town by various organizations.
For a while during his career,
Hunter had a contract with the
well known carnival, West Coast
Amusement Fair. Last fall he
had a showing at the art gallery
in Dawson Creek where 110
paintings of his were displayed.
Hunter said he had been com-
missioned by South Peace Art
Society to do this large number -

Last year his hobby and career

took him to Edmonton where he

-was commissioned to paint a
horse and her colt. Some of
Hunter’s material is presently
displayed at the Terrace-kitimat
Airport, He has also done some
sketching of the Terraceview

Hunter said most of his cus-
tomers have been sent to him by
manager of the Northern Motor
Inn, Gail Munsen, I’ve been in
Terrace for over two years now,
and the Northern Motor Inn has
supported me all the way; they.
have always encouraged me, he
