BYLAW NO. 2697

A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the Clty of Port
Coquitlem to dispose of portions of dedicated road and lane
in exchange for portions of land to be dedicated as road.

WHEREAS the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling portions of road and lane showa dedicated in the City of Port
Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia;

WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the lands desaribed in Section 2 of this Bylaw
has agreed to convey land to the City da exchange so that It may be
established ag an addition to the roads in the City.

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of
British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any
portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the
purpose of improving, widening, stralghtening, relocating or diverting the

highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Pert
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitlam ia hereby authorized to
convey to the Registered Owner of che lands deseribed in the next Section

hereof:

a.) @ 6.500 m* portion of road in District Lot 290, Group 1, dedicated by
Plan 1957, identified as Parcel "1" and shown included within the
heavy outline on a plan certified by Walter E. Frith, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 7th day of May, 1992; and,

a 2.478 ha portion of road in District Lot 290, Group 1, dedicated by
Plan 1957, identified as Parcel “3" and shown included within the
heavy outline on a plan certified by Walter E. Frith, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 7th day of May, 1992; and,

an 11.150 m4 portion of road in District Lot 290, Group 1, dedicated
by Plan 76522, identified as Parcel “5” and shown included within the
heavy outline co a pian certified by Walter E. Frith, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 7th day of May, 1992; and,

a 0.3783 ha portion of road in District Lot 290, Group 1, dedicated
by Plan 1957, identified as Parcel "6" and shown included within the
heavy outline on a plan certified by Walter E. Frith, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 7th day of May, 1992; and,
