Metro Motors is celebrating 25 years of Business in the City of Port Cocuitlam WHEREAS : Metro Motors Ltd., generally known as Metro Ford, has been in business in the same location in the City of Port Coquitlam since April 19, 1965, for a period of twenty-five years; | Metro Motors has represented the Ford Motor Company in our community for twenty-five years, serving thousands of local families; Metro Motors is the leading automovile agency; The McKone family has demonstrated continued community spirit by supporting many local athletic teams, May Day celebrations, business associations and other local events while maintaining continued business leadership; AND WHEREAS: Metro Ford is a good corporate citizen and the City looks forward tc another twenty-five years, NOW THEREFORE: I, Leonard M. Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM the week of | April 16, 1990 to April 23, 1990, as: “METRO MOTORS WEEK" in the City of Port Coquitlam.
