THAT City Council authorize the Clerk's Office to submit an

application to the Agricultural Land Commission under Section 12(1) |
of the ALC Act for exclusion of City owned

land in the Riverwood
Subdivision. The City Lots are;

Lot 7, Section 6, Block 6 of NRIE, NWLD Plan 4318 ;
Lots 1 ~- 36, Block 1, Section 6, Block 6 of NRIE, NWLD Plan 1850 ,
Lots 1 to 20, Block 2, Section 6 of NRLE, NWLD Plan 1850

Lots 22 to 36, Block 2, Section 6 of NRLE, NWLD Plan 1850 ;
Lots 1 ~— 36, Block 3, Section 6, Block 6 of NRLE, NWLD Plan 1850

The City lands in question are surrounded by private property that
was excluded from the A.L.R. under application #02-0-18477. The City land is
divided into five city blocks. Due to the size and shape of the parcels they
are not usable for agricultural purposes. As they are contained in a

developing subdivision their use for agriculture would not be compatible with
Surrounding residences.
