CULVERT AND FLAP GATE RECONSTRUCTION - EXISTING
COQUITLAM RIVER DYKE - NORTH Of PITT RIVER ROAD
(Public Works Committee Meeting of March 30, 1993)

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council approve the replacement of the culvert and flap gate along the
Coquitlam River Dyke just north of Pitt River Road at an estimated cost of $22,406.

That $22,406 be allocated from the Special Public Works Capital Reserve fund for
this purpose.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

The Dyking Commission has requested that the City of Port Coquitlam replace the steel culvert

and flap gate on the Coquitlam River Dyke just north of the Pitt River Road as shown on the
attached memorandum from the Operations Manager dated March 24, 1993.
