Re: Tolerance - Minimum Area Standards

Rather than suggest a By-law amendment with respect to the above noted matter,
I have decided to ask Council to give consideration to passage of the following

resolution:

"That Staff be directed to bring to the attention of Council any situations
where the minimum area standards laid out in the Subdivision and Zoning By-laws
cannot be met and the deficiency is within One (1%) percent."

This appears to be a preferable method of procedure as a By-law amendment would
introduce an automatic tolerance which could theoretically be applied on top of
a tolerance factor already exercised by a Surveyor.
