That will help when she per- forms music professionally, which she hopes to do if she decides not to pursue environmental studies at UVic. Trish Ward, 17, wants to develop self confidence, polish her public speaking skills and make lasting friendships from her participation in the Miss Terrace pageant. The auburn-haired student enters Grade 12 next year and enjoys basketbail, | volleyball and all sorts-of outdoor activities.
