BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Port Coquitlam City Council cal! on the federal and provincial governments to take whatever action is necessary to ensure this GATT ruling is not implemented and Canadians retain the right to process their own resourcese BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council send a lotter of protest to Premier Vander Zalm, Fisheries Minister Tom Siddon and Prime Minister Mulroney and a telegram to Trade Minister, Pat Carney insisting that she meet with representatives of the fishing industry as soon as possible.
