DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT:

From the City Clerk, March 12th, 1992 regarding Development /ariance
Permit No. 2/92 for 3015 Cambridge Street.

Moved by Alderman Thompson:
Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of February 14th, 1992 the Voluntary Development Variance Permit be
issued for 3015 Cambridge Street in the form appearing in the Agenda documents
of this Council meeting.

REPORTS:

From the City Engineer, March 16th, 1992 regarding No Parking Restrictions
on Kitchener from Westwood Street.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Gordon:

That Council approve the installation of "No Parking Anytime" signs on
both sides of Kitchener from Westwood Street to 120 metres east of Westwood.

From the City Engineer, March 16th, 1992 regarding a request for Road
Dedication - City Owned Property Lot B, Plan 78712 - Dickson Street. :

Seconded by Alderman Gordon:

That Councll approve a road dedication from a portion of Lot B, Plan 78712
in order to provide for the road-of-way required for a cul-de-sac as shown on
the plan attached to Council agenda.

From the City Engineer, March 18th, 1992 regarding Laurier/Devon/Burns
Watermain Reconstruction Appointment of Consulting Engineers.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Gordon:

That Daycon & Knight be appointed as Consulting Engineers for the Laurier
Avenue, Devon Kuad, and Burns Road Watermain design and construction projects
at an estimated cost of $68,163 (including GST).

That the Laurier & Devon Watermains be constructed in 1992 and the Burns

Road watermain be designed in 1992 and tendered for construction in 1993
(subject to 1993 budget approval).

And that $68,163 be allocated from the 1992 Capital Water Utility Budget
for this purpose.
