ONE UTILITY CUBE VAN

Tenders were accepted for the supply of one utility cube van for the water
crew. All of the vehicle submissions met with the City's specifications,
however, the acceptance of the lowest bid vehicle, the Ford from Metro would
require the Mechanical Shop to carry additional parts inventory for this one
of a kind vehicle.

The second lowest bid is therefore recommended adding $252.00 to the cost the
lowest bid vehicle in order to standardize this class of vehicle within the
City's fleet.

ONE CAB AND CHASSIS

Tenders were accepted for the supply of one cab and chassis flat deck truck,
to replace one trades crew flat deck.

Availability of the vehicles is currently limited due to the change over of
production years from 1990 to 1991.

New tenders will be accepted in 30 to 60 days in order to reprice 1991
production modeis.

TWO ONE TON DUMP TRUCKS

Tenders were accepted for the supply of two mini dump trucks to replace
asphalt and works crews units. Vehicle tender specifications of! all the Ford
vehicles did not meet the City's specifications for gross vehicle weight,
Limiting the legal carrying capacity of the vehicles.
